Great experience learning to drive with Dan - very thorough and effective teaching! Would definitely recommend for others

Really recommend Dan as a driving instructor, he has been really patient and motivating throughout my driving lessons. I was quite was nervous but excited about starting lessons and he gave me the confidence to be able to drive and go pass my test first time with no minors!! Thank you so much Dan.

Genuinely can't speak highly enough of Brooky's Driving School! Finding an instructor who could be flexible around a busy sixth form schedule was difficult, but it felt like Dan went out of his way to be as accommodating as possible. His communication was excellent from day 1 and his teaching skills speak for themselves. My son grew in confidence with every lesson and passed his test at the first attempt. Brilliant service, would highly recommend.

My son was initially quite nervous about driving but Dan quickly built a great rapport with him, explaining things clearly and using his great sense of humour to build his confidence and make him relax. I would highly recommend Brooky’s driving school to anyone who wants to learn to drive. Dan is super helpful with everything and is always funny,calm and great to talk to. He always knows how to keep you and situations calm and controlled. Would defo recommend.

Dan came highly recommended through people i know and it was the best choice i could've made for my son. He has always been approachable and accommodating for my sons lessons and has always kept me updated on his progress. My sons always spoken highly of Dan and has always felt at ease with him and ensured any mistakes as a learner were rectified and explained thoroughly. if you need an instructor for any level of experience choose Dan you won't be disappointed.

Cracking instructor. Patient, knowledgeable and really down to earth which is exactly what I was looking for. I’d spoken to a few local instructors before going with Dan and it’s the best decision I could have made.

The sheer amount of time we spent actually driving on our lessons rather than talking for 50% of the time at the side of the road made a huge difference in how quickly I was able to pick it all up. Pair that with easily the best instructors car in York and it’s a no brainer.

I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Dan to anyone, whether you’re 17 doing it for the first time or you’re unhappy with how you are progressing with your lessons with your current instructor.

I left it late to do my test, being a bit older than the usual crowd after doing lessons in my early 20s and stopping them after a few weeks as I couldn’t get on with the style they taught me. If I hadn’t had gone with Dan, I don’t think I’d have passed in the fashion I did.
