At Brookys Driving School we will train you to become a fully qualified ADI (Approved Driving Instructor)
Once you've qualified you can choose to join us and join the team!

​Since Covid-19, the cost of driving lessons has increased as a result of demand and inflation. We have instructors who earn £50,000+ per year doing it full-time.

DBS CHECK
First of all you will have to have been driving for 3 years or more and be over the age of 21.
You will need an advanced DBS check to become a Driving Instructor.

THEORY TEST
After you have completed your DBS check you will need to pass a slightly harder than normal theory test.
You have unlimited attempts to pass this!

PART 2 DRIVING TEST
This is a Driving Test for 1hr which you are only allowed 6df (driver faults)
with no serious or dangerous faults.
You only get 3 attempts at this.
If unsuccessful you will have to wait until your theory runs out to restart the process.
4
PART 3 TEST
To do your part 3 test you will have to complete 40hrs of training.
After your training you can then go out and earn while you learn before you sit your final test!
